How platform charges work

Who uses it: Anyone

Repline has no subscription, licence or per-seat fee. There is nothing to pay until you collect money from a member, and the fee is a share of what you actually take.

The standard published rates are 1.5% of recurring membership revenue, 3% of retail sales, and 3% of classes, personal training and facility hire — whether your own team or an external provider delivers them. Membership drops to 0.75% on revenue above £30,000 a month and 0.05% above £60,000 a month, applied marginally, so the slices below keep their original rate. A brand-new member who finds you through the Repline marketplace carries a one-off 15% finder's fee on their first month only; it never repeats on renewals, and members you bring yourself can be routed through your own referral link or QR code and are exempt entirely.

A worked example: a 300-member gym at £40 a month, with £2,000 of retail and £3,000 of classes and personal training in the month, pays £180 on memberships, £60 on retail and £90 on services — £330 in a typical month, about £3,960 a year. If five of those members arrived through the marketplace that month, add a one-off £30.

Card processing is charged by the payment provider at their own published rate, direct to you, with nothing added on top; text messages, if you use them, are bought as credit up front, while email and in-app notifications cost nothing. Check-in runs on a phone or tablet you already own, so there is no hardware to buy. The pricing page shows the full picture with a calculator, and the current rates are also published in machine-readable form at /api/public/pricing. Individual agreements can carry a different rate; your own billing area always shows the rates actually applied to you.
