Shift sign-off & payroll

A shift is clocked in, worked, and signed off. The sign-off carries the real times, any breaks, and a note where something differed from the plan.

Sign-off and authorisation are deliberately two different people, so no one approves their own pay. Owners are the practical exception, since there may be nobody above them. Everything that is agreed flows straight into the pay run.
